What I am in the quest of is a versatile case that would provide different, yet firm angles for viewing content on my iPad.I tried the other "Acase" available on Amazon as well (see that review) but it wasn't acceptable.I searched again and came across this design.I like the style and material looked nice.So I gave it a shot and ordered one.
First I wouldn't refer to the material as real, genuine leather but the quality is good.The style and overall look of the case I must say is excellent.I was pleasantly surprised.The iPad fits in well and the front cover closes properly and the magnets (hidden) align properly and secure the case just fine.So at this point I thought I found my case.
Unfortunately when leaving the iPad in the case at any of the grooved angles, it slowly makes its way downward, thus covering the power on button.There is however a flap which is supposed to tuck behind the iPad when inserted into the case to keep it in place.But given the curvature of the iPad itself the flap is completely useless because it's too short and cannot reach beneath the curvature of the iPad to create friction.Therefore the iPad needed frequently to be repositioned.Had the flap been three times as long and twice wide then this would resolve the issue.
If you do not plan to use the multiple positions or view you iPad in landscape position with one hand, then this may be the case for you.But for me, too bad because its the best I found thus far and the price is reasonable.Fix the flap and I may look again.I will move onward and look elsewhere; but I hope this review helps the next buyer who maybe wishes to look beyond the flap issue.Good luck!
