I received it as a gift from my sis

I often use my LapZilla (17" Apple) on my lap ---- the comfort of the iLap has been excellent, as its easy to position upon my lap and makes typing easy

my only complaint would be the small size of the base ---- of course, the base is made to barely cover the laptop's footprint, meaning that you have no room for papers or elbows

if you're looking fora 'lapdesk' then look elsewhere ----- but if your only need is a solid laptop stand for your 'lap', then look no further!
