Surprise was how well it works when I am laying on back in bed reading.It will balance on my chest with Ipad near vertical holding the screen at a comfortable angle and height.I've also used it at a table/desk with the bluetooth keyboard and love it.The two in combination have me thinking it may be functional enough to use this rather than dragging my laptop along on out of town trips.
