(More customer reviews)This stand is nicely made for the price and I think many people would be happy with it.However, in addition to raising the rear, the stand does raise the front of the laptop about 1/2 inch, which affects hand positioning and made it harder to type for us.Also, the bottom has thin rubber feet but the rubber is fairly hard and the stand slips easily on smooth surfaces, i.e. when opening or closing the laptop.Instead of the stand, I have been using a 1"x2" length of wood, with rubber weatherstripping on the bottom, at the rear of the laptop and this has worked well for us.Of course, I could have glued pieces of softer rubber on the bottom of the stand but, I would have still had the height problem.
